USSF FITNESS TEST

The Fitness Test is for referees who are attempting to Upgrade (Grade 8 to 7; 7 to 6) and Grade 7 and 6 maintenance.

SUMMER FITNESS TEST

Saturday June 10, 2017 – 9:00am – 11:00am

RESERVOIR HIGH SCHOOL

This will be run in conjunction with the NISOA National, which is equivalent to the Maryland State Fitness Test. We plan to run the State (NISOA National ) test at 9:00AM.

The Fitness Test administered will be the State Referee Fitness Test which consists of a sprint test and then an interval test.

Sprint Test

6 consecutive 40 meter sprints at a maximum of 7.2 seconds per sprint

Interval Test

Maximum of 40 seconds for the 150 meter run
Maximum of 40 seconds for the 50 meter walk

Sunday July 16, 2017 – 8:00am – 10:00am

There will be two Fitness Tests run on this date:

State Fitness Test at 8AM: This test is for Grade 6 and 7 maintenance, and also Grade 6 and 7 upgrade
Sprint Test:
6 consecutive 40 meter sprints at a maximum of 7.2 seconds per sprint
Interval Test: 10 full laps
Maximum of 40 seconds for the 150 meter run
Maximum of 40 seconds for the 50 meter walk

Grade 5 Fitness Test at 9AM: This test is for Grade 5 maintenance and Grade 5 upgrade
Sprint Test:
6 consecutive 40 meter sprints at a maximum of 6.4 seconds per sprint
Interval Test:
Maximum of 17 seconds for the 75 meter run
Maximum of 20 seconds for the 25 meter walk

FALL FITNESS TEST #2

Sunday October 15, 2017 – 9:00am – 11:00am
(Rain Date will Sunday October 22, 2017)

This will be the last fitness test run in 2017. There will be two Fitness Tests run on this date:

State Fitness Test at 8AM: This test is for Grade 6 and 7 maintenance, and also Grade 6 and 7 upgrade

State, Advanced, and Intermediate Referee Clinics

No dates have been set for upgrade clinics.

State Referee Clinic

This clinic is for Grade 5 and Grade 6 referees.

Advanced Referee Clinics

This clinic is for referees who desire to upgrade to Grade 6 (State Referee). You must complete the online tests prior to the clinic. Session 1 is the New Law Change Exam, and Session 2 is the State Referee Test. Even if you may have taken the New Law change Exam to complete your recertification, you must take it again for this clinic.

Intermediate Referee Clinics

This clinic is for referees who desire to upgrade to Grade 7. You must complete the online tests prior to the clinic. Session 1 is the New Law Change Exam, and Session 3 is the Grade 7 Referee Test. Even if you may have taken the New Law change Exam to complete your recertification, you must take it again for this clinic.
